Gilbert, James (Gylberde) B.A. 8 Feb., 1506-7; fellow of Merton Coll. 1507, M.A. licenced 5 June, 1511, and disp. 11th (because presented to a vicarage), vicar of East Ham, Essex, 1511, rector of Kingsdon, Somerset, 1521, rector of St. Christopher-le-Stocks, London, 1536, rector of Allerton, Somerset, 1536, prebendary of Cudworth 1537; seems to have died in 1556.
