Liverpool 1545 (or circa 1550-2), clerk of the signet 1537-53; appears to have played the organ at St. Frideswide's, edited a translation of the Bible 1539, a prisoner in the Tower 1541 for slandering the lady Anne of Cleve, had the king's licence to preach throughout the kingdom 1552, though not in orders, "this excellent but eccentric person" died 14 July, 1575.
