Yakusoku suru, To promise, to make an agreement.

The word to (with) must be put after the names of persons to whom we make a promise.

Watakusi wa kono okata to miyo niti Yedo ye iku yakusoku simasita. I promised you to go to Yedo to-morrow.

Tou, to ask. Tenugui, towel.
