PBBFACE^ IX presented with the Ptolemaic Geography of the whole of Asia, with the exception only of those countries which from propinquity and frequency of intercourse were well known to the nations of the West. In a short Appendix will be found some additional notes. The present volume forms the fourth of the Series of Annotated Translations of the Works of the Classical Writers which relate to India.
