ANTI-FAKE NEWS (REPEAL) ACT 2020


An Act to repeal the Anti-Fake News Act 2018.

ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows:


Short title

  1. This Act may be cited as the Anti-Fake News (Repeal) Act 2020.


Repeal and savings

    1. The Anti-Fake News Act 2018 [Act 803] is repealed.
    2. The repeal of the Anti-Fake News Act 2018 shall not affect any order made under the repealed Act prior to the date of coming into operation of this Act.
