[This is an excellent Catalogue Raisonné, with an Appendix of Essays on the uses of certain parts of armour not yet well determined. It has also a well-arranged list of extracts from Inventories and other documents relative to armour of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, with similar intent to a work published also at Leipzig (but which we have never seen) entitled "Rustung-Worterbuch."]
