Part IV

(3) The power to make an order under this section—

(a) shall be exercisable by statutory instrument; and
(b) shall include power to make such incidental, supplemental or transitional provision as the Secretary of State thinks fit;

and a statutory instrument containing an order under this section shall be subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of either House of Parliament.

Offences by bodies corporate 37.—(1) Where an offence under this Act or under regulations made under section 33 of this Act has been committed by a body corporate and is proved to have been committed with the consent or connivance of, or to be attributable to any neglect on the part of, any director, manager, secretary or other similar officer of the body corporate, or any person who was purporting to act in any such capacity, he as well as the body corporate shall be guilty of that offence and shall be liable to be proceeded against and punished accordingly.

(2) Where the affairs of a body corporate are managed by its members, subsection (1) above shall apply in relation to the acts and defaults of a member in connection with his functions of management as if he were a director of the body corporate.

Interpretation etc. 38.—(1) In this Act, except in so far as the context otherwise requires—

“act of violence” shall be construed in accordance with section 2(7) or, as the case may require, section 10(2) of this Act,
“aerodrome” means the aggregate of the land, buildings and works comprised in an aerodrome within the meaning of the 1982 c. 16.Civil Aviation Act 1982 and (if and so far as not comprised in an aerodrome as defined in that Act) any land, building or works situated within the boundaries of an area designated, by an order made by the Secretary of State which is for the time being in force, as constituting the area of an aerodrome for the purposes of this Act;
“air navigation installation” means any building, works, apparatus or equipment used wholly or mainly for the purpose of assisting air traffic control or as an aid to air navigation, together with any land contiguous
