AMERICAN COLLEGE FRATERNITIES

Committees were appointed to investigate existing conditions, gather information, and report at future sessions upon the following topics.

1. On the relation of the fraternity chapter to the college administration.

2. On the evils connected with the present system of pledging new members.

3. On the relation of the fraternities to one another.

The following fraternities were represented: ΑΧΡ, ΑΔΘ, ΑΤΩ, ΒΘΠ, ΧΦ, ΧΨ, ΔΚΕ, ΔΦ, ΔΣΦ, ΔΤΔ, ΔΥ, ΚΑ (N), ΚΑ (S), ΚΣ, ΦΔΘ, ΦΓΔ, ΦΚΨ, ΦΚΣ, ΦΣΚ, ΣΑΕ, ΣΧ, ΣΝ, ΣΦ, ΣΦΕ, ΘΔΧ and ΖΨ. No reply was received from ΔΨ, ΩΠΑ or ΠΚΑ. ΨΥ did not send a delegate and invitations were not sent to ΘΧ, ΘΞ, ΠΚΦ, ΑΣΦ or ΣΠ because their addresses were not known.

A second session was held Nov. 26, 1910 at the University Club, New York City. At this session Acacia and ΣΠ were represented and ΣΝ was not. During the session the representative of ΧΦ withdrew. The following constitution was adopted:

CONSTITUTION

(I) The Inter-Fraternity Council shall be composed of three delegates from each men's general college fraternity which has at least five chapters and signifies its intention of participating in the Conference. Delegates shall be chosen in such manner as their respective fraternities determine. On roll-call in Conference, each fraternity represented shall have one vote.
