BROWN Born, St. Joseph, Missouri, September 3, 1859; graduated from Northwestern University, 1879; General Counsel, Denver Tramway Company, 1887-93; City Attorney, Denver, 1885-87; member Colorado General Assembly, 1890-92; author Brown Telephone Ordinance; Captain Colorado National Guard, 1897, and in five years retired with rank of Colonel; adjusted $1,500,000 estate of his late father, H. C. Brown; formerly cousel for Equitable Realty Company and the late William Barth; member American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, Society of Colonial Wars, Sons of Revolution, Colorado Pioneers, Masonic bodies, Denver Country and Denver Athletic Clubs; candidate for U. S. Senate, 1912. |
