In the matter of Mickele Amato and Vladimir Hryniuk (Ladimir Walter Capyk Hrynuik)—Revocation of Certificates of Naturalisation.

NOTICE is hereby given that the under-mentioned certificates of naturalisation have been revoked and cancelled by an Order of the Deputy of His Excellency the Governor General in Ottawa. P.C. 2297. dated Saturday. the 26th day of August. 1939:

1. Certificate of naturalisation issued at Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.. on the 12th June. 1906. to Mickele Antato. then of Sault Ste. Marie. Ont., and presently of Detroit. Michigan. U.S.A.. revoked under the provisions of section 9 (2) of the Naturalization Act.

It is also ordered that Mary Amato, wife of the said Mickele Amato. shall cease to be a British subject.

2. Certificate of naturalisation No. 11038. Series B. issued at Ottawa. 0111.. on the 19th January. 1925. to John Hryniuk revoked under section 9 (I) of the Naturalisation Act in so far only as it relates to a stepson, Vladimir Hryniuk (Ladimir Walter Capyk Hrynuik).

Tenders for the Surfacing and Grading of Runways, R.C.A.F. Station. Rockliffe, Ont.

SEALED Tenders. enclosed in envelope marked "Tender for Surfacing and Grading 0f Runways. Rockclifle." and addressed to the Chairman, Defence Purchasing Board. Ottawa. Ontario, will be received until 12 o'clock noon (daylight saving), Tuesday, September 19, 1939), for the surfacing and grading of runways at the Royal Canadian Air Force Station, Rockclife, Ontario.

Tenders will not be considered unless made on the forms supplied by the Board. and in accordance with the conditions set forth therein. These forms. together with the plans and specifications, may be obtained on application to the Chairman, Defence Purchasing Board, Ottawa, Ont. A deposit of $25.00 in the form of a certified cheque. made payable to the Receiver General of Canada, is required to be forwarded with the application before plans and specifications will be issued. This deposit will be remitted when the plans and specifications are returned in good condition to the Board.

Each tender must be accompanied by a certified cheque on a chartered bank in Canada, payable to the Receiver General of Canada, or Bearer Bonds as specified in the form of tender for ten per cent (10%) of the amount of the tender.

The cheque or bonds of the successful tenderer will be forfeited should he decline to enter into a contract for the work or should he fail after accepting the contract to complete same in accordance with the plans and specifications.

The Board does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

SEALED Tenders. enclosed in envelope marked "Tender for Mines Road Diversion. Dartmouth. N.S". and addressed to the Chairman. Defence Purchasing Board. Ottawa, Ontario, will be received until 12 o'clock noon (daylight saving), of Monday, September 18, 1939. for the construction of a road to the Aerodrome and the Road Diversion of the Mines Road at the Royal Canadian Air Force Aerodrome at Dartmouth, N.S.

Tenders will not be considered unless made on the forms supplied by the Board. and in accordance with the conditions set, forth therein. These forms. together with the plans and specifications, may be obtained on application to the Chairman, Defence Purchasing Board, Ottawa, Ont. or to the Officer Commanding Eastern Air Command, Royal Canadian Air Force, National Harbour Board Building, Halifax. N.S. A deposit, of $25.00 in the form of a certified cheque, made payable to the Receiver General of Canada, is required to be forwarded with the application before plans and specifications will be issued. This deposit will be remitted when the plans and specifications are returned in good condition to the Board.
