KING'S REGULATIONS AND ORDERS FOR THE CANADIAN MILITIA, 1939—AMENDMENTS (No. 8)

King's Regulations and Orders for the Canadian Militia, 1939, are amended as follows, effective 15th July, 1939.

Para. 324 (a)—Delete sub-para. (ii) and substitute

"(ii) a staff sergeant after serving three years in that rank may be promoted warrant officer Class II."

Para. 324 (b)—Delete and substitute—

"(b) A warrant. officer Class II after-serving three years in that rank will be eligible for promotion to warrant officer Class I."

PAY AND ALLOWANCE REGULATIONS, 1937, FOR THE PERMANENT AND NON-PERMANENT ACTIVE MILITIA—AMENDMENTS (No 28)

Pay and Allowance Regulations, 1937, for the Permanent and Non-Permanent Active Militia are amended as follows, effective 15th July, 1939.

Article 57.—Delete from line seven to end of article and substitute:

"Upon promotion to warrant officer, Class II, after three years as start-sergeant.
