CHRIST IS ALL.
IN the Lord shall all the seed of Israel will be justified, and shall glory, Isa. xlv. 4. 26. Christ is the Father's fulness of grace and glory. He must have the pre-eminence. He alone is worthy, who is to build the spiritual temple of the Lord, and to bear the glory. Every vessel of his temple, from the cups to the flaggons, Must all be hung on Christ. He, by his Father's appointment, is the foundation- one, corner-stone, top-stone.
Reader! dost thou profess the name of Christ? and partake of his ordinances? Luke i. 6. Thou doest well. They are glorious privileges. But if thou hast no the blood of Christ, 1 John i. 7. 1 Cor. 1. at the root of thy profession, it will either and prove unprofitable.
