The government of Buenos Ayres gave great solemnity to the execution of Quiroga's assassins; the bloodstained, ball-pierced carriage was long exposed to public view, and lithographs of Quiroga, and of those executed on the scaffold, were distributed among the people. But the impartial historian will one day expose the real instigator of the assassination.
