(4) It shall be a condition of every such grant that the occupation of the land is reserved exclusively for tribesmen. The terms and conditions of such occupation shall be subject to the approval of the Officer Administering the Government and may provide for the lease or individual freehold tenure of the land concerned or such other form of occupation as the Officer Administering the Government may consider appropriate. 1 109. Where the Board of Trustees, after making such inquiries Conversion as it deems necessary and after consultation with the Chief con- Trust Land cerncd, is satisfied that, into freehold tenure. (a) it is the general wish of the tribcsmen living in any substantial arca of Tribal Trust Land that the rights of the tribesmen living in such area should be converted into individual freehold ownership; and (b) to give effect to such wish would be in the general interests of the tribesmen; the Board may, after giving due consideration to the interests of other tribesmen who might be affected, take the necessary steps to give effect to such wish of the tribesmen. In such case the Officer Administering the Government, with the consent of the Board of Trustees, may by order declare that as from such date as may be specificd such area of land shall cease to vest in the Board of Trustees as part of the Tribal Trust Land and thereafter shall cease to be part of the Tribal Trust Land and shall vest in the Officer Administering the Government for the purpose of making grants of individual freehold title to the persons concerned, subject to such limitations regarding the future alienation or disposal of the land in question as may be prescribed by a law of the Legis- lature under sub-paragraph (iii) of paragraph (b) of subsection (1) of section 111 110. The Officer Administering the Government, with the Regulations consent of the Board of Trustees, may make regulations- (a) prescribing the terms and conditions on which tribes- men may be permitted for special reasons or in special circumstances to occupy any specified portion of the Tribal Trust Land on the basis of a lease; (b) for the control of all moneys received from rents charged and fees and other charges imposed under any agrecmest nade with the Board of Trustees or under any regulation made under this section, and the appli- cation of such moneys in the interests of the tribes. men;
