COLEMAN, CHARLES CARYLL, born at Buffalo, N. Y., in 1840. Figure and still-life painter; went to Europe in 1859 and again in 1866, since which has not returned to America. Exhibits in New York, London, Paris, and Rome. An A.N.A. of New York and member of the London Art Club. Studio in London in 1883.
