May 6, 1794, and succeeded his father, Nov. 18, 1839; was a Capt. in the Navy; m. July 4, 1825, Helen Selina, daughter of the late Thomas Sheridan, Esq. and d. July 21, 1841, having had issue an only son. Her ladyship married, 2ndly, 1862, the Earl of Gifford, M.P. (son of the 8th Marquess Tweeddale) , who d. the same year; and d. 1867.
