FITZ-HARDINGE, Baron, His lordship's predecessor was his father, Maurice Frederick Fitz-Hardinge Berkeley, G.C.B. P.C. 1st Baron Fitz-Hardinge. He was b. Jan. 3, 1788 ; entered the Royal Navy, 1802, where he served with great distinction, and at the time of his death was Admiral of the White ; he was M.P. for Gloucester for many years, and a Lord of the Admiralty; m. 1st, 1823, Lady Charlotte Lennox, 6th daughter of the 4th Duke of Richmond, E.G. (she d. 1833), having had issue two sons and two daugh- ters; 2nJly, 1834, Lady Charlotte Moreton, 3rd daughter of the 1st Earl of Ducie; and d. Oct. 17, 1867, without having had issue from last marriage.
