Jan. 26, 174"; was raised to the Irish peerage in 1800, as a Bar*n, and created a Viscount 1816, and assumed by Royal per- mission, the surname of De Montmorency; he was a distinguished member of the Irish House of Commons, Secretary to the Lord Lieut, of Ireland, and member of the Irish Privy Council, m. 1st, 1771, Mary, daughter of J. Fade.. Esq. of Dublin, (she d. 1787, without issue); his lordship m. 2ndly, Aug. 6, 1804, Catherine, daughter of G. White, Esq. of Castle Bellingham; and d.
