Lieut, of Ber- wickshire and Lanarkshire : married (1832) the Hon. Lucy Elizabeth Montagu, eldest daughter of Henry James, last Baron Montagu, and has issue, living, Sow*, Charles Alexander, Lord Dunglass, b. 1834; educated at Eton, and at Cam- bridge University ; is a Dep. Lieut, and a Magistrate for Lanarkshire ; was appointed Lieut. -Col. Commandant Lanarkshire Yeomanry Cavalry, 1866 ; unsuccessfully contested Berwickshire, June 18/3 : m. 1870, Maria, daughter of the late Capt.
