Born March 2nd, 1851 ; succeeded his grandfather in 1859 ; educated at Eton, and at Trinity College, Cambridge, (B.A. 1872) ; is Capt. 1st London Rifle Volunteers. Married _ __ (1874) the Hon. Oct. 27, 1788, and succeeded his nephew, Sept. 26, 1828 ; was a Vice Admiral in the Navy : m. 1st, Aug. 10, 1812, Elizabeth, daughter of the late Samuel Whitbread, Esq. (she d. 1843), and by her had issue three sons and five daughters; Sndly, Dec. 8, 1846, Sarah, daughter of the Rev. W. Whitear, Prebendary ot Chichester, widow of E. Milward, Esq. ; and d. Oct. 24, 185Q, without issue from his last marriage.
