The Province of Canterbury comprises the,dioceses of Canterbury, London, Winchester, Bath and Wells, Bangor, Chichester, Ely, Exeter, (jloucester and Bristol, Hereford, Lichfield, Lincoln, Llandaff, Norwich, Oxford, Peterborough, Rochester, Salis- bury, St. Asaph, St. David's, and Worcester. The other Dioceses comprise the Province of York. The Junior Bishop, being other than that of London, Durham, or Win- chester, has no seat in the House of Lords. For Precedence of Archbishops and Bishops, see "Table of Precedence." The Mitre is a high cap, with two pendants fringed at the ends hanging from the lower part.
