He was succeeded by his el. son, John, 2nd Bart., who was fol'owed in the Baronetcy by his second son, Michael, served heir as 3rd Bart., in turn succeeded by his son Michael, 4th Bart. The 5th Bart, was James, who had been served heir general to his father, Robert Malcolm, of Grange, a descendant of Robert, 2nd son of ist Bart.
