New Copy of Verses: Or, A True Touch of the Times.

THE Farmers of England say,
they cannot pay their Rent,
The Statesmen Tax them so hard
and Money is still seant.
But now we are like to have a War,
Money will Circulate more,
If that we Conquer the Spaniards
Old England will flourish once more.
The haughty silly Spaniards,
In Vain once more will try,
Their fates with English Hero’s
Their Folly runs so high.
But Villians you're mistaken,
We soon will make you tall,
Keep fast your hold, brave Lyons bold
We’ll stand by one and all.
There horrid Depredations,
To Englands known full well,
Their Pyracies cannot be match'd
No if you ransick Hell.
Their bloody cruel Murder,
Aloud for Vengance cll's
Then never fret, but pay the Debt
With Fiery Bombs and Balls.
