Authorizing the Appointment of Lewis R. Barrett to the Position of Recreation Coordinator, National Park Service, Department of the Interior, Without Regard to Civil-Service Rules
By virtue of and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the provisions of paragraph Eighth of subdivision SECOND of section 2 of the Ciql Service Act of January 16, 1883 (22 Stat. 403, 404), it is hereby ordered that Lewis R. Barrett may be appointed to the position of Recreation Coordinator in the National Capital Parks, National Park Service, Department of the Interior, without compliance with the requirements of the civil-service rules and without being accorded a classified status.
