Charles Norris, 14th Jan. 1799, vice Samuel Ryder Weston resigned[4]. Ob. 16th Dec. 1833, aged 90.

William Wood, 2nd Jan. 1834, vice Charles Norris deceased. Ob. 11th April 1841, aged 71.

This prebend was by Order in Council, 4th June 1841, annexed and united to the newly created archdeaconry of Maidstone, to which

William Rowe Lyall, was appointed 11th June 1841.

Benjamin Harrison, second archdeacon of Maidstone, 6th Dec. 1845, vice Lyall, promoted to the deanery of Canterbury.

Richard Birde, 29th Sept. 1590, vice William Kinge[6]. He was buried 19th June 1609.

George Hovenden, 15th Dec. 1609, vice Richard Birde[7]. He died at Oxford, 24th Oct. 1625.

Accepted Frewen, 1st Sept. 1625, vice Hovenden[8], Upon Dr. Frewen's translation to Lichfield in 1643, Dr. Stephen Goffe was nominated to this stall, but he went to Rome and changed his religion.
