John Bale was nominated 1st Jan. 1559-60[1], and admitted 10th Feb. following, vice Thomas Wood deprived[2].

Andrew Peerson was admitted 30th Nov. 1563, vice John Bale deceased[3].

Ralph Talboys, 13th Nov. 1594, vice Andrew Peerson[4].

Martin Fotherby, 30th July 1596. He was made bishop of Salisbury in 1618.

Alexander Chapman, 3rd Oct. 1618, vice Martin Fotherby resigned[5]. He died 6th Sept. 1629, ætat. 52, and was buried in the cathedral.

John Gerard Vosstus, appointed in 1629. Edward Aldey, presented 16th Aug. 1660. He died 12th July 1673, and was buried in St. Andrew's church, Canterbury.

Thomas Blomer, 2nd Aug. 1673[6], and installed on the 6th of that month. He resigned in 1706.

Radolph Blomer, 13th May 1706[7]. He died 6th April 1732.

Hon. Henry Dawnay, 19th June 1732, vice Radolph Blomer[8]. He died in July 1754.

Thomas Curteis, 8th May 1755, vice Hon. Henry Dawnay[9].

Richard Lucas, 3rd June 1775, vice Thomas Curteis[10].

Philip Williams, 4th May 1789, vice Richard Lucas[11].

Hon. Edward Legge, 23rd March 1797, vice Philip Williams[12].

John Barton, 1st Nov. 1802, vice Hon. Edward Legge resigned[13]. Died 17th Feb. 1803.

Matthew Surtees, 1st April 1803, vice John Barton deceased[14].
