Bath and Wells 6th Nov. 1845, pursuant to conge d'elire dated 15th Oct. 1845. The royal assent to his v.^ election was given 7th Nov., he was confirmed 12th Nov.^^, and the temporalities were restored to him on the 2ist of the same month ^9. His lordship is the present holder of the see.
The bishoprick is rated for first fruits at 533?- is. 3^.^^* The arms of the see are blazoned thus : Azure, a saltier quarterly quartered or and argent.
