John Whitgift, S.T.P., elected in 1567; he resigned three months afterwards for the mastership of Trinity college. He was Margaret professor of divinity in 1563, regius professor of divinity in 1567, bishop of Worcester in i;>77, and archbishop of Canterbury in 1583. Ob. 29th Feb. 1603-4. John Young, S.T.B., elected 12th July 1567; resigned in 1578, on being made bishop of Rochester. Died at Bromley 10th April 1605. William Fulke, S.T.P., elected 10th May 1578. Ob. 28th Aug. 1589. Lancelot Andrews, S.T.P., elected 6th Sept. 1589; resigned in 1605 for the bishopric of Chichester. He was dean of Westminster in 1601, bishop of Chichester in 1605, bishop of Ely in 1609, bishop of Winchester and prelate of the Garter in 1618-19, &c. Ob. 26th Sept. 1626. Sam UK I- Harsnet, M.A., archdeacon of Essex, elected 9th Nov. 1605; resigned in 1616. He became bishop of Chichester in 1609, bishop of Norwich in 1619, and archbishop of York in 1628. Ob. 25th May 1631. His will is dated 13th Feb. 1630- 1, and a codicil to it 1 8th May 1 63 r .
