WEDNESDAY, APRIL 23rd, 1902. Mr. Alfred Nutt (Vice-President) in the Chair.

The minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

Mr. Crooke read a paper entitled, " The Lifting of the Bride" [infra, p. 226], and a discussion followed, in which the Chairman, Mr. Gomme, Mr. Bouverie Pusey, Miss Thompson, Mr. Tabor, and the Rev. H. N. Hutchinson took part.

The Meeting terminated with a vote of thanks to Mr. Crooke for his paper.

WEDNESDAY, MAY 28th, 1902. The President (Mr. E. W. Brabrook) in the Chair.

The minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.

The election of Mr. G. Maxwell, Messrs. Holliday & Co., and the Bradford Free Public Library as members of the Society was announced.

The resignation of the Women's Anthropological Society of Washington was also announced.
