Andree (R.). (Extr. Globus, 64, No. 22.)
Douglas (Sir G.). Scottish Fairy and Folk-tales, selected and edited, with Introduction. Crown 8vo. W. Scott.
Edda. 12mo. 398 pp. Leipzig, 1893.

A new and excellent translation, with brief but thoroughly adequate Introduction and Notes.

Fielde (Adele N.). Chinese Nights' Entertainments. Forty stories illustrated by Chinese artists. 8vo. ix, 194 pp., n. d. (1893). New York: Putnams.
Kainal (R. F.). Die Huzulen. Ihr Leben, ihre Sitten und ihre volksüberlieferung. Roy. 8vo. vi, 130 pp. 30 illustrations and coloured plate. Vienna: A. Holder.
Larminie (W). West Irish Folk-tales and Romances, collected and translated. With Introduction, Notes, and Appendix containing specimens of the Gaelic originals phonetically spelt. 8vo. xxvii, 258 pp. E. Stock, 1893.

One of the most valuable collections of Irish folk-tales ever published. I hope to review it at length in the next number.—A. N.
