The pillars of the nave have a very wide circular base, and in the Early English chancel are sedilia with aumbries and piscina, and also an arched recess which may have been used for an Easter sepulchre. The tall red sandstone font is singularly fine, both bowl and pedestal being richly carved with figures under canopies.

BENINGTON Benington has a Latin couplet:—
Ad loca Stellata
Duc me Katherina beata
Leverton one in Norman French:—
Pour l'amour de Jhesu Christ
Priez par luy q moy fatre fist.
