The walls in this edifice are all very thick ; those of the domed halls being 4 m. 70 c, and the others from 2 m. 30 c. to 3 m. 10 c. The entire fabric was built of broken stone or rubble, bound by a good mortar of lime mixed with sand ; the facings were plaster or mortar from two to three centimetres thick.
