In 1873 a parsonage was built by private subscriptions, is owned by stockholders, and is managed by trustees. The Corporation is known as the Barrington Parsonage Associa- tion, with a capital stock of ^5,000. It leases the property to the U. C. Society, for the use of the ministers. The par- sonage is situated near the meeting-house, fronting on the Barrington River. Mr. R. D, Horton is President of the As- sociation, and the trustees are R. D. Horton, J. L. Draper, John B. Humphreys, George T. Baker, Thomas W. Bicknell. An end view of the present parsonage with its grounds may be seen in the picture of the Congregational meeting- house and parsonage.
