AN OLD WOMAN ASLEEP AT A TABLE. Upon the table, which is covered with a cloth, are a wine-flask and a glass. The picture has a doubtful look, chiefly because of the cracks in the paint ; but it is possible that the paint has been cracked by the bad varnish. Panel, 8 inches by 7 inches. Sales. She has fallen asleep while reading a large book that lies on her lap. Beside her is a table covered with an Oriental carpet, upon which are a jug and other objects. Panel, 10 inches by 9 inches.
