A man in reddish-brown with a black cap sits, holding a beer-glass and a jug. He sits, holding a little glass in his left hand. On a table to the right are a pipe, a pewter pot, and a charcoal pan. Signed in full on the left, and dated 1651 ; panel, 8 inches by 7^ inches.
