To the left amid many trees and bushes is a cottage ; at the thres- hold a woman awaits a man who approaches with a dog. Above the water- fall, on a little hill at the foot of the main range, sits an artist, with his dog watching him. To the left are the rocks, covered with moss and bushes, on which the water dashes.
