complete and ended, and no longer, nor at any other Place than is herein above described; provided always neverthless, that if within the said Term of seven and an half Year, from the first Day of the Ninth Month Sep- tember 1791, aforesaid the said Furnace or Oven, shall be destroyed by fire or other causality, or pulled down by the said 12em
his Heirs, Executors, Administrators or Asigns, and he or they shale be desirous to erect and establish another Furnace or Oven for the purpose of burning raw Ashes in the manner aforesaid, and if he or they shall surrender and deliver up, this present License, to the said Samuel Hopkins, his certain Attorney, Executors, Administrators or Asigns, then and in such case the said 12em his Executors, Administrators or Asigns, shall be entitled, to have and receive from the said Samuel Hopkins, his certain At- torney, Executors, Administrators or Asigns, another Licence, of the same Tenor with these presents, for erecting another Furnace or Oven, for tyhe purpose aforesaid, at such other place to be described and ascertained, in the said New Licence, and to maintain, support and work the same, during all the residue of the said Term, first above mentioned, which shall at the time of granting the said new License, be unexpired, and no longer, paying for such new Licence the sum of fifty cents and no more. Provided al- ways, and wit this express condition, that each and every Barrel, Cask or Package of Pot or Pearl Ash, made out of Ashes burnt as aforesaid in the Furnace or oven hereby permitted to be erected, shall before it is removed from the said Furnace, be branded on one Head in Legible Charcters, with the number of this present Licence, and the initial or first Letter of the said 12em first name and his Surname at full length, and also that each Cask or Package shall be named on the bilges or side with a marking Iron, or in some other manner that will be liegible when at Market, beginning with No. 1, with Pot or Pearl, and so continuing in the excess of one, making the second Barrel or other Package of Pot or of Pearl No. 2. and the third of either No. 3. and so on in regular Progression, Provided also, and these Presents are upon this further condition, that the said 12em shall
