WHEN GAME IS TERMINATED

The game shall terminate at the sounding of the Timekeeper’s signal indicating the end of playing time.

When a foul Is committed simultaneously with or just previous to the Timekeeper’s signal ending a half or an extra period, time shall be allowed for the free throw or throws, if any are involved in the penalty.

When a shot is taken near the end of playing time the goal, if made, shall count if the ball was in the air before time expired. All provisions contained in art. 29 and 30 shall apply untill the ball touches the ring. If the ball strikes the ring, rebounds and then enters the basket, the goal shall count.

If, after the ball has touched the ring, a player of either team touches the ball, it is a violation.

If a defensive player commits such a violation, two points shall be awarded. If an offensive player commits such a violation, the ball becomes dead and the goal, if scored, shall not count. These provisrons apply until it is apparent the shot will not be succeesful.
