PREFACE.
The publication of the following case is
deemed as much an act of justice, as it
may be regarded a matter of curiosity. It
may possibly effect some good, by turning
the attention of medical men to the subject
of professional etiquette, and to a consideration of those nice feelings and reciprocal
charities, which confer on the practitioners
of medicine the amiable distinction of a
fraternity.
