NOTICE ;login: is the official newsletter of the USENIX Association, and is sent free of charge to Indivi- dual, Public and Institutional members of the Association. The USENIX Association is an organization of AT&T licensees, sub-licensees, and other persons formed for the purpose of exchanging information and ideas about UNIX[1] and UNIX— like operating systems and the C programming language. Hardcopy output from a line printer or most dot-matrix printers is not reproducible.
