Part VII

(4) The provisions of section 126 above have the same extent as the sections of the 1848 c. 42.Indictable Offences Act 1848 to which they refer.

(5) The provisions of section 32(7) and (9) above, in their operation in relation to the provision that may be made under subsection (2) of section 2 of the 1972 c. 68.European Communities Act 1972, extend to all places to which the said section 2 extends (except Scotland).

(6) Except as stated in subsections (2) to (5) above, and except so far as relates to the interpretation or commencement of the provisions mentioned in those subsections, this Act extends to England and Wales only.

(7) This Act shall come into force on such date as the Secretary of State may appoint by order made by statutory instrument.
