We hereby give over to the reader the rest of our friend's fragments that we can make known through print: although these two volumes do not contain everything that was worthy of note, they express the disposition, or the inner history, of the author in full; just as it touched everything that he thought about and studied. That's why we thought it was better not to add to this arc the history of his life, as every new friendship brings intimations of a change of disposition, and then quite quickly, the story of his life, what he could call life, will be understood. It cannot be our intention to recommend or judge the following works as it may possibly be that every judgement that is already emerging would be too early and too unripe.
