Padua 1601 ; incorporated at Oxford 7 Dec, 1642, "the discoverer of the circulation of the blood," fellow college of physicians 1607, treasurer 1628-9, physician to St. Bartholomew's hospital 1609, physician extraordinary to James I. 1618, and to Charles I., was at the battle of Edgehill 1642 ; died 3 June, 1657.
