PREFACE
In the belief that the present list may prove of more general service as a bibliography of Pacific Northwest Americana, its publication has been placed with a house whose bibliographical works are widely known and used. It may not be amiss to mention that certain changes in style, such as deletion of punctuation, have been made to conform to the standards established by this house.
The work has been prepared with the endorsement of the Pacific Northwest Library Association. Acknowledgment is here made of the prompt and enthusiastic assistance of the staff members who furnished the data from each library.
