Freeman saw a gig with two persons enter the lane, but he did not recognize John Thurtle, Probert's two servants, a woman and a boy, however, have sworn that their master returned home on Friday evening about nine o’clock, bringing Hunt with him ; and they stated that John Thurtell arrived in a gig a short time before their master and Hunt.
