(4) The amount of the allowances paid under this section shall be charged annually to the Consolidated Revenue Fund and the provision of this sub-section shall be deemed to be an appropriation of every such amount.”
Repeal of Act No. 21 of 1916.
2. The Payment of Members or Parliament Act, 1915, is hereby repealed.
Short title and commencement.
3. This Act may be cited as the Payment of Members of Parliament Act, 1926, and shall be deemed to have commenced on the first day of April, 1926.
