SONG OF THE GREENWOOD FAGOT.
Oh!
a bonnie thing am I, when the woodman binds me up,
For he takes me with the green leaf and the tawny acorn cup;
He takes me in the forest, while the soft wind loiters through,
Where my branches bear the ringdove and my young bark drinks the dew.
