WHAT is believed to be the most ingenious and practical camping blanket devised to date is the invention of J. L. Wright, of Revere. Mass. Why Legs Are Called "Cork"
THE first artificial leg, other than the ordina- ry wooden pegs, is said to have been made in London by a man named Cork in the earh^ part of the nine- teenth century. Hence the name " Cork leg," no mat- ter what the material.
