I suffered more pain than it would be manly to confess, or than you can easily conceive, from that wretched uncertainty about the money. So the steamboat will take three months to finish? The vernal equinox will be over by that time, and the early wakening of the year have paved the Mediterranean with calm. Among other circumstances to regret in this delay, it is so far well that our first cruise will be made in serene weather.
