CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS TO OTHER WRITTEN LAWS

Section 2 Delete the words “Radiation Protection Act (Cap. 262)” in paragraph (c) of the definition of “dangerous substance” and substitute the words “Radiation Protection Act 2007”.
(2) Health Sciences Authority Act
(Chapter 122C, 2002 Ed.)
Section 11(1) Delete the words “, tobacco products, radioactive materials and irradiating apparatuses” in paragraph (a) and substitute the words “and tobacco products”.
(3) National Environment Agency Act
(Chapter 195, 2003 Ed.)
(a) Section 11(1) (i) Insert, immediately after the word “environment,” in paragraphs (u) and (v), the word “radiation,”.
(ii) Delete the word “and” at the end of paragraph (v), and insert immediately thereafter the following paragraph:
“(w) to control and regulate the import, export, possession, storage, transportation, sale and use of radioactive materials and irradiating apparatus; and”
(iii) Re-letter the existing paragraph (w) as paragraph (x).
